Hi, I’m Megan.
First and foremost, I want you to know that I am a mom, sister, daughter, partner, friend— and a therapy client myself. I know what it’s like to carry heavy things, to question yourself, and to long for something to shift.
I include this because I know therapy can feel intimidating. My hope is that you won’t experience me this way. You don’t have to have the right words or show up in any particular way in our sessions. You can simply be yourself, in whatever form that takes on any given day, and trust that there is space for you to feel seen, heard, and witnessed in all that you carry (even the yucky stuff… especially the yucky stuff!).
I’m a trauma therapist, but I’m also a human just like you.
I don’t believe therapy is something I do to you.
I believe healing happens in relationship… when you feel safe enough to explore what’s underneath.
That’s why I do my own inner work and have been a client of every therapy modality I use. I learned these tools from the inside out. I have been on the other side of the room, and I know how powerful it is to have someone hold that space with you with real compassion, curiosity, and tenderness. I continue this work always, because I believe healing is ongoing rather than something that is ever fully “finished.”
Reconnecting with my body and inner world led me toward this path of supporting others in doing the same. I hold the wisdom of the body in very high regard, and this perspective has shaped the many hours of training I’ve pursued. I am a lifelong learner and continue to deepen my skills and knowledge through both education and experience.
Finally, outside of being a therapist I enjoy seeing live music, practicing yoga, browsing a good craft fair, visiting national parks, reading fantasy books, and spending time with the people I love most. Life holds so much beauty alongside its pain, and I hope to support you in connecting more deeply with both.
I share my trainings openly so you can get a sense of my background and decide whether my experience aligns with what you’re looking for.
